¾ Day of full day fishing trips depart at 7 am and return around 5 pm this is a very popular fishing trip. Fish Catalina Island and over 40 miles of coastline. Yellowtail to 40 pounds, white sea bass, halibut, barracuda, red snapper, tuna, and many more species are caught on these full day trips. Several hundred fish a trip is common with action on almost every cast. Keep your catch and have it cleaned for a nominal fee or catch and release it is your choice. Newport Landing Sportfishing's fleet has state of the art electronics, huge live bait capacity which has unlimited bait for use, spacious indoor/outdoor seating, men's and women's restrooms, and full amenities including a full service snack bar/kitchen. 1/2 day Fishing Trip
Fishing areas from Long Beach to Dana Point including the productive waters off of Laguna Beach and Huntington Beach! Fish caught inlcude white sea bass, halibut, yellowtail, and even yellowfin tuna a possibility. The most common fish caught include calico bass, sand bass, barracuda, bonito, sheepshead, sculpin, and at least a dozen other species. Experienced crews staff each trip to offer assistance and instruction if needed. The Nautilus is our primary ½ day open party boat over 70 feet in length. The Nautilus offers an upstairs sundeck with full amenity snack bar/kitchen to make the brief cruise to the fishing grounds scenic and relaxing. Fish cleaning services are available onboard for a small fee you catch is filleted and ready for the grill. Deep sea fishing gear rental for every type of ocean fishing trip, as well as numerous accessories, such as hats, sport sunscreen, and sunglasses, to name just a few.

3/4 day Fishing Trip
Our ¾ day trip fishes Catalina Island and coastal areas from Long Beach to San Offree and offshore! We target yellowtail tuna and these hard fighting fish can easily attain weights of over 40 pounds. Along with yellowtail we also fish for white sea bass, barracuda, bonito, calico bass, sand bass, halibut and manhy more, Our boat catch usually averages hundreds of fish per trip. The Patriot is our standard boat and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We also feature a full snack bar/kitchen that serves breakfast, lunch, snacks and beverages.
