The entire coastline of Laguna Beach has been declared a "Marine Life Refuge" to protect and preserve the rich variety of marine life forms for all to observe and enjoy. Tide pools are not to be disturbed in any way. People may fish (except in Heisler Park Ecological Reserve where fishing is prohibited), but take nothing else.

Laguna's "Window to the Sea", located in the heart of downtown Laguna. Boardwalk area with pathway to Heisler Park, volleyball and basketball areas, picnic tables, children's play area, protected tide pools. Laguna Beach has some of the best diving spots in Southern California.

First Thursdays Art Walk is funded by member galleries, local art institutions, lodging establishments, and the City of Laguna Beach.

Laguna Art Museum is a museum of California art. It collects, cares for, and exhibits works of art that were created by California artists or represent the life and history of the state.
