Hiya,

I was wondering if anyone is able to help me find accomadation in January 2008. I'm coming over to Laguna for a month in Jan and no where seems to have any accomdation available! :(

I can understand your frustration! There are a several hotels that will accept a reservation for January 2008, but they're unable to give you a rate just yet.

Vacation Villageis accepting reservations for January 2008. :)

Surf & Sand Resort - will get January 2008 rates at the end of August. However, they will accept a reservation now, but just won't be able to quote you a rate. ;) http://lagunabeach.com/surfandsand/index.html

Inn at Laguna Beach will get 1/2008 reservations in October.

Wish we had better news, but you'll just have to keep checking until rates become available or book now without knowing the rate and follow-up with the hotel.

Also, what will it be like in January? I know it isnt the right season to go but will the weather be ok? Have you go any good advice on what to do and where to go?

January isn’t the best weather, since it's a bit cold for Laguna Beach, but it does have its advantages in that it is off-season so the rates are much cheaper :) and it is mostly locals (the hordes of tourists having ventured home). As far as what to do…the festivals are all closed, but shopping, great dining, and walking the winter beach are all good draws. :cool:
