hotels with 2 separate bedrooms

I am looking to vacation in Laguna next summer, and I would like a hotel that has a separated bedroom because I have a baby. I would also like to be on the beach and within walking distance to all of the shopping. There would be two other families coming at the same time, and we'd all like to stay together in the same hotel. Any suggestions?

Here are some of our family's top picks while staying in Laguna Beach: Inn at Laguna Beach, Hotel Laguna, By the Sea Inn, and Vacation Village. While Vacation Village is on the beach and is family friendly - it is not as close to the downtown area of Laguna.

I'm not sure if all of these places have adjoining rooms - you'll need to ask. Also, if you're planning on visiting during the summer, be sure to book early.
